AMULET SOPHINITY
High-Resolution Mammography With Patient-Centered Design
The AMULET SOPHINITY is a digital mammography system designed to provide high-resolution images with a low X-ray dose, along with Dual Mode Tomosynthesis and features focused on patient and technologist comfort. Its compact design, ergonomic positioning features, and integrated workflow controls are intended to make mammography examinations smoother and more comfortable.
Key Features
Compact space-saving design — integrates the high-voltage device into the main unit, reducing the overall system size.
Comfort-focused positioning — a thin exposure table, rounded detector front, and longer armrest support more comfortable positioning during different views.
Adjustable electric compression — allows fine compression adjustments while maintaining visibility of the breast during positioning.
Easy paddle exchange — compression paddles can be quickly attached or removed according to breast size and examination view.
Accessible controls — arm rotation and height controls are positioned on the tube head for convenient operation.
Integrated imaging information display — patient and positioning information is displayed on a panel at the bottom of the imaging stand.
AWS operation workstation — combines X-ray control and imaging functions in a user-friendly interface.
Flexible image display — supports 1, 2, or 4 divided views, left and right image alignment, and image output during examinations.
Optional 5M second monitor — can display current and previous images for comparison and automatically display reconstructed tomosynthesis images.
Space-Saving and Comfortable Design
The AMULET SOPHINITY incorporates a slim, rounded exterior with the high-voltage device integrated into the main unit, allowing installation in space-limited environments. The compact exposure table has reduced side bulging to minimize stress during positioning.
The curved front of the detector is designed to reduce pressure against the abdomen during the CC view and improve body fit during the MLO view. A longer armrest also provides support for the patient's hands and arms during imaging and can serve as a hand rest during CC positioning.
Smoother Mammography Workflow
Controls for arm rotation and height adjustment are positioned on the side of the tube head, allowing technologists to make adjustments according to the examination situation. The electric compression plate can be finely adjusted while maintaining a clear view of the breast, supporting more controlled positioning.
A range of compression paddles is available for different breast sizes and imaging views, with a design that allows quick attachment and removal from the gantry.
The AWS workstation further streamlines operation by combining the X-ray control section and imaging conditions on the same screen. The examination display can be configured into one, two, or four sections, with left-right image alignment and the ability to output images during the examination.
Optional High-Definition Display
The optional 5M second monitor allows current and previous images to be viewed together for comparison when connected to PACS. It can also automatically display tomosynthesis reconstructed images and support display of stereotactic and tomosynthesis biopsy images for targeting procedures.
