FDR SMART-X
Flexible, High-Quality X-Ray Imaging
The FDR Smart X is a multi-function digital X-ray system designed to provide flexible, high-quality imaging solutions for different radiography room configurations. It can be installed with either a ceiling-suspended or floor-mounted X-ray tube, allowing the system to be adapted to available space and departmental requirements.
The system is compatible with Fujifilm's D-EVO II series DR panels, as well as CR and F/S cassettes, providing options for different imaging workflows.

Removable grids — grids in the table and upright stand can be changed according to examination requirements, including pediatric imaging.
Dual Reference Rotation — supports top or center rotation of 14 × 17-inch DR panels, allowing different body regions to be examined without removing and reinserting the panel.
Motorized elevating table — height-adjustable floating tabletop with a 300 kg weight capacity.
Rotating table tray — allows the panel orientation to be changed according to the patient's position.
Automatic DR panel connection — built-in SE cable and connector automatically connect the panel when placed in the tray.
Fail Safe Switch — prevents X-ray exposure when the panel is missing or incorrectly positioned in the tray or Bucky.
Integrated console — combines the detector console and X-ray controller on the same monitor for setting exposure conditions and selecting examination menus.
DR status monitoring — displays information such as wireless connection and battery charge level when a DR panel is being used.
Flexible Tube and Detector Configuration
The FDR Smart X offers two tube-mounting options. The ceiling-suspended tube stand provides tracking with the upright and table detectors, supporting efficient positioning and workflow. The floor-mounted tube stand offers a more space-conscious installation option for imaging departments with limited room.
Efficient Patient Positioning
The motorized elevating table combines height adjustment with a floating tabletop and supports patients weighing up to 300 kg. Tube tracking with both the upright and table detectors helps simplify positioning during exposures.
The upright Bucky stand can provide automatic or manual tilting, while preset positions allow frequently used positions to be recalled quickly. These functions can make positioning more convenient for radiographers and patients, particularly wheelchair users.
Streamlined DR Workflow
The built-in SE cable and connector allow compatible DR panels to connect automatically when placed in the tray, eliminating the need to manage cables around the Bucky. The rotating tray also allows the panel direction to be changed according to patient positioning.
A Fail-Safe Switch checks whether the panel is correctly positioned before exposure. If the panel is absent or incorrectly inserted, X-ray exposure is prevented, helping avoid false exposures.
Integrated Control and Imaging Management
The integrated console combines the detector console and X-ray controller on a single monitor. Exposure conditions and examination menus can therefore be selected from the same PC.
Connected imaging modalities, including DR panels and cassettes, are displayed in both the console and X-ray controller. Selecting the required modality synchronizes the settings between the two systems. When a DR panel is connected, the console can also display its wireless connection status and battery charge level.
