Advanced X-Ray Imaging for Diagnostic Applications
The FDR Visionary Suite is a flagship X-ray system combining advanced imaging applications, automated positioning functions, and Fujifilm image processing technologies. It is designed to support high-quality imaging at a low operational dose rate while improving workflow efficiency and patient positioning.
The system is compatible with a range of Fujifilm DR panels and can be configured according to the imaging requirements of different clinical sites.

Tomosynthesis — acquires multiple images during a single tube sweep and reconstructs them into cross-sectional slices, with imaging precision down to 150 μm.
Energy Subtraction — separates soft-tissue and bone information using different X-ray energy levels while incorporating motion-artifact reduction.
Image stitching — creates wide-area images up to 160 cm upright and 120 cm recumbent, with automatic alignment correction for patient movement.
5-axis auto-positioning — automatically moves the X-ray tube to preset positions, supporting faster room preparation.
Power Assist Function — motor-assisted tube movement reduces the physical effort required for manual positioning.
Automatic tracking — keeps the X-ray tube and detector aligned during positioning.
Radiation field linking — automatically sets the selected radiation field size and aligns it with the detector.
Integrated LCD touch panel — allows imaging conditions and system settings to be adjusted directly in the X-ray room.
Wide positioning range — supports tube movement from 40 to 190 cm from the exposure center and an exposure platform range of -20° to 90°.
Adjustable X-ray table — height can be adjusted between 53 and 85 cm using the available foot and grip switches.
Sound and light notifications — indicate system readiness and X-ray exposure status to personnel away from the equipment.
Advanced Imaging Applications
The FDR Visionary Suite provides several optional applications that expand its diagnostic capabilities.
Tomosynthesis captures a series of images during a single linear tube movement and reconstructs them into cross-sectional slices. Up to 60 images can be collected, with automatic calculation of imaging conditions and metal-artifact suppression.
Energy Subtraction uses two X-ray exposures at different energy levels to distinguish soft tissue and bone. Multiple-resolution alignment processing helps suppress motion artifacts between exposures.
Image Stitching automatically combines multiple exposures into a wide-area image. It can produce images covering up to 160 cm in the upright position and 120 cm in the recumbent position, with automatic correction of image discontinuities caused by patient movement.
Efficient Positioning and Workflow
The system is designed to reduce unnecessary physical effort and simplify routine preparation. Auto-positioning can move the X-ray tube to preset locations, while the Power Assist Function uses motor assistance to make manual tube positioning lighter and easier.
During examinations, auto-tracking maintains alignment between the tube and detector, allowing the operator to concentrate more on patient positioning. The radiation field linking function further simplifies setup by automatically adjusting the selected field and its alignment with the detector.
The LCD touch panel provides access to imaging information and settings directly from the X-ray room. The panel can also be rotated by 90 degrees to match the direction of the X-ray tube, improving visibility during positioning.
Flexible Detector Configurations
The FDR Visionary Suite supports FDR D-EVO II and FDR D-EVO Advanced panels, allowing the detector configuration to be matched to different workflow and handling requirements.
The FDR D-EVO Advanced C43A supports Energy Subtraction and Tomosynthesis examinations and can also be used as a portable detector for free-exposure imaging. Its integrated charging capability allows the panel to remain powered through the Bucky during examinations, reducing the need for regular battery replacement.
The system also supports connection with EX-Mobile, an optional accessory that provides an operating environment for software such as AI-CAD applications. Analysis results can be viewed at the technologist console and sent to PACS; the console display itself is not intended for diagnosis.
